Yes, the UVILIZER Tower is perfectly safe to use. Simply turn it on and exit the room it is active in. Make sure that there are no pets, children or plants in the room while it is active. Once it finishes, it will automatically turn off. At this point you can reenter the room, but we recommend allowing the room to ventilate for 15-60 minutes before doing so.
The UVILIZER Tower combines UVC and ozone for a full room disinfection, targeting both the air and near by surfaces. While other UVC lamps are effective at killing 99.99% of biological pollutants, their effectiveness drops when the light is reflected, making them less practical for home use.
By combining both UVC and ozone, the UVILIZER Tower maximizes efficiency, achieving the same sanitization in just 15-6 minutes that would otherwise take 25-30 hours with a traditional ozone generator. Its UVC bulb ensures thorough disinfection, even in hard-to-reach areas and the air.
UVC light is effective against mold, but certain types of mold are harder to eliminate and may require longer exposure times or several treatments.
The UVC bulb has an impressive lifespan of over 5,000 hours! To put that into perspective, if used daily, it would last more than 12 years before reaching 5,000 hours. If you ever need a replacement bulb, feel free to reach our to us, and we'll be happy to assist.

However, industry experts agree that a light tube can function continuously for up to a year - or approximately 9,000 hours - before needing replacement due to reduced UV effectiveness.
